When you order anything online via a seller or marketplace, or when you purchase something in a store that requires delivery you will be given a list of delivery options to select which one is more suited to your needs. For example, if you are purchasing something online and the online shop is in America and you are in Australia, you might be given a list of options that will determine how long your item/s will take to arrive to you if you were to choose a “registered option” you will be given a tracking number that will enable you to follow your parcel or packages journey. There are 2 options that you can choose to track this parcel, one is to track using Australia Posts online tracker but bare in mind that if the package requires international delivery then when it leaves Australia it will change courier which will then, in turn, have a different tracking method. If you were to use superior tracking methods like Ship Resolves you can track up to 10 different tracking numbers, through over 1200 couriers, anywhere in the world and still be able to keep up to date with where your package is no matter how many times it changes courier. You will receive your tracking number either via email confirmation from the seller once the item and postage have been purchased or from the actual store or post office once you take the item to it.
