AliExpress Tracking Number
Are you an avid online shopper who frequently uses AliExpress to purchase goods? If so, then you know the importance of having a reliable tracking system for your packages. This article will guide you on everything you need to know about AliExpress tracking numbers. Whether you’re a seasoned AliExpress user or a newcomer to the platform, understanding how to use AliExpress tracking is needed so that you will be well aware of when packages will arrive safely and on time.
What is my AliExpress tracking number?
Just like many marketplaces in China, all registered shipments will have a tracking number, and AliExpress is no different. The tracking number, also known as a tracking code or tracking ID, will always be unique to an individual parcel. Whether you have ordered one parcel or a hundred packages, each order will have a separate tracking code in order for the parcel to be identified.
The format will be similar to other codes, but the numbers are always different. For example, a tracking number for a parcel with AliExpress could be “TY72726064444700008” but another AliExpress order will have a different tracking number even if you order from the same shop.
If the seller provides the same tracking number for various orders, then contact with the seller should be made. Alternatively, you can contact AliExpress customer support directly for further online support.
The AliExpress tracking number may vary depending on where it is being sent from. Since most of the items will be shipped from China, a China Post tracking number may be used. A China Post tracking number generally consists of a 13-digit character starting with 2 capital letters, followed by a 9-digit number and ending with “CN”. Of course, the tracking number may differ from the different couriers in China such as Yanwen, ZTO Express, Yun Express, and many others.
You can use your AliExpress tracking number to track your packages on Ship Resolve. Ship Resolve has a true end-to-end tracking system that will be able to track your parcels within a few seconds.
Do not confuse your order number with your tracking number. An AliExpress order number only identifies as the number of the order of the item you purchased and it cannot be used as a way to track your order.

AliExpress Tracking Number not working
While AliExpress tracking numbers can be a helpful tool for keeping track of your packages, there are some common issues that users may encounter:
- Tracking numbers not updating – Sometimes, the tracking information for your package may not update for several days or even weeks. This can happen if the package is still in transit or if there are delays in the shipping process. If you’re concerned about the status of your package, you can contact the seller or AliExpress customer service for assistance.
- Tracking numbers not working – In some cases, your tracking number may not work at all. This can happen if the number was entered incorrectly or if there is a glitch in the system. If you’re having trouble with your tracking number, try entering it again or using a different tracking website.
- Lost or undelivered packages – While rare, it’s possible for packages to get lost or not be delivered at all. If you haven’t received your package after the estimated delivery time has passed, you can contact the seller or AliExpress customer service to report the issue and request a refund.
Why has my AliExpress tracking number changed?
Sometimes, as the package is handled by different couriers in different countries, tracking numbers for AliExpress packages can change along the way. This can make it difficult to track the parcels and is not convenient for the buyer as they will have to access lots of different couriers’ websites in order to access information about their package.
